Our History

Goggans Insurance Agency was established in 1987 by Terry Goggans. Our first office was located in the middle of Rainsville Alabama. Soon after opening the doors Sue Goggans joined and together they began to create the Agency we have today. In 1992, Our Rainsville office moved up the street to its current location. As our clientele Grew so did the number of Insurance companies we represent allowing us to better serve our clients. We opened our Fort Payne Branch in 1996. Gabe and Tonya Goggans joined the Agency in 2000 and opened our Scottsboro branch later that year. Josh and Loriah Goggans soon followed in 2001 and quickly began to manage our Rainsville office. Our Boaz office opened in 2006. Finally, Our Centre branch opened its doors in September of 2007 allowing us to better serve Northeast Alabama.
